Jiriki is a bass music artist known for her unique blend of heavy basslines, high energy beats, and experimental sound design. The name, Jiriki, is a Japanese Buddhist term that directly translates to “self-power” and this translation of empowerment correlates to her creative process. Raised as a classically trained musician, Danielle Johnson began experimenting with electronic music and established the Jiriki project in 2011.
After years of honing her craft and refining her sound, Jiriki began to make a name for herself in the underground music scene. Her live performances are electrifying, combining multiple genres and styles to form a musical journey of future bass and forward-thinking sounds.
